We are seeking a Full Time Line Cook to join our Kitchen Team. As a Line Cook, you will work in a fast-paced, quick-service culinary environment for our members and guests, creating exceptional experiences with every dish. Responsibilities

  • Continuous collaboration and communication with Kitchen Team members to prepare culinary dishes
  • Excel in numerous culinary methods to prepare a variety menu items based on Glencoe standard recipes and requirements
  • Prepare Mise en Place for service including intricately cutting up vegetables, butchering meat, or crafting sauces while ensuring Food Safety practices
  • Maintain stock and prep stations with all necessary items for service
  • Proactive and timely cooking of high quality dishes to ensure food service comes out simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year culinary experience
  • A Journeyman Seal or working towards a Red Seal certification an asset
  • Have open availability morning, evening and weekend
  • Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written instruction in English
  • Must be comfortable standing or walking during the length of shift and be able to repetitively lift supplies weighing up to 50lbs
  • Food Safe Certification and other required certifications

Additional Details

This is a full time position that reports to the Executive Chef. The successful candidate will required to work a variety of shifts including weekends, weekdays, evenings and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace certification prior to commencing employment.
