Senior RFIC Engineer

On behalf of our client, an innovative semiconductor company developing next-generation wireless chips for infrastructure and high-performance connectivity, Affinity is see king a Senior RFIC Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This is a hands-on role focused on developing high-performance RF and analog ICs using CMOS-based process technologies. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in RF system design, especially in transceiver components, and is ready to help build the next wave of wireless innovation .

Key Responsibilities

• Design RF IC systems using CMOS and BiCMOS technologies; GaN and GaAs experience is a plus but not the primary focus
• Simulate and analyze RF circuits using Cadence, ADS, and HFSS
• Design and optimize key RF blocks: LNAs, mixers, drivers, phase shifters, VGAs, couplers, and filters
• Support IC tape-out, lab evaluation, and design verification
• Collaborate with layout, test, and system teams to ensure performance goals are met
• Provide layout and system-level design input
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering; PhD preferred
• 5+ years of RFIC design experience with a strong focus on CMOS
• Proficient in analog layout, tape-out flow, and system integration
• Familiar with EM simulation tools (HFSS, Sonnet, CST)
• Solid hands-on testing experience and debug methodologies
  
  

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $170,000 – $200,000 USD
• Performance Bonus
