The Opportunity

At MedMe Health, we’re building the operating system for pharmacies to deliver clinical services at scale. As a Data Configuration Specialist, you’ll be critical in transforming complex clinical service requirements into configurations on the MedMe platform.

You’ll work with both internal teams and pharmacy clients to interpret service requirements—like forms, intake processes, and documentation needs—and translate them into structured configurations. You’ll be responsible for preparing and deploying those configurations into production, and making sure every detail works as expected through thorough, robust QA. You’ll help ensure pharmacists have the right tools and workflows to deliver care efficiently, accurately, and at scale.

This role is perfect for someone who’s detail-obsessed, technically curious, and enjoys making things work exactly as intended. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, working through incomplete information, and holding a high bar for accuracy and clarity in everything you do.

This is a fully remote role open globally. Candidates must have flexibility to align with Eastern Time (ET) hours and support deployments or business needs as required.

About MedMe Health

MedMe is transforming pharmacies from dispensaries into community healthcare hubs. Our platform helps pharmacists manage appointments, documentation, and communication for clinical services like vaccinations, chronic disease consultations, and medication reviews.

We support 4,000+ pharmacies and have enabled over 25 million patient services to date. MedMe played a critical role in Canada’s pandemic response—and now, we’re scaling into the US and beyond.

What You’ll Do

Requirement Gathering & Client Collaboration

  • Translate business and clinical service requirements into data configuration specs
  • Work with internal teams (Product, Clinical, CS) and external pharmacy stakeholders to understand what's needed—and what's feasible
  • Present proposed solutions and workarounds to clients, clearly communicating platform capabilities, limitations, and the reasoning behind each approach

Data Configuration

  • Convert PDFs and written specs into FHIRr5-compliant JSON files
  • Configure platform logic using internal tools to support appointment types, workflows, and documentation
  • Map data from questionnaires to PDFs using PDF editing tools
  • Troubleshoot configuration and data mapping issues, resolving them directly when possible and escalating clearly when needed
  • Prepare and deploy configuration updates to production environments (typically during scheduled release windows)

Quality Assurance & Documentation

  • Complete internal review of work to ensure it meets defined quality standards by conducting tests, identifying defects, and documenting issues for resolution
  • Verify the accuracy and performance of configurations through thorough QA testing
  • Maintain a clean, organized library of reusable files and templates
  • Contribute to internal documentation and help improve processes based on recurring issues or inefficiencies

About You

You’re probably a great fit if you’re:

  • Detail-oriented and take pride in producing clean, accurate work—even when requirements are incomplete or ambiguous
  • Comfortable working with JSON, spreadsheets, or other structured formats to configure systems or organize data
  • Able to break down complex problems into manageable steps and work through them independently
  • Flexible and adaptable in dynamic environments with changing priorities or unclear inputs
  • Confident communicating with clients and cross-functional teams, especially when presenting options, trade-offs, or constraints
  • A strong listener who asks smart questions to uncover what’s really needed—and knows how to translate that into concrete outputs
  • Curious and proactive in learning unfamiliar concepts, including clinical language, workflows, logic structures, and documentation standards

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in data configuration, technical support, implementation, or similar roles
  • Strong working knowledge of structured data formats (e.g. JSON) and comfort navigating technical tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity and incomplete information to deliver accurate outputs
  • Experience collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Flexibility to align with Eastern Time (ET) business hours and support deployments or business needs as required

Nice To Have

  • Familiarity with FHIR standards or healthcare data interoperability
  • Prior experience in pharmacy operations, healthcare, or clinical service delivery
  • Exposure to PDF mapping, form logic, or data entry tooling
  • French language proficiency
