As District Manager of Approved Stores, you are motivated by the desire to support and advise Starbucks certified stores. You guide your teams according to Starbucks principles, to deliver great customer experiences and drive the growth of all Starbucks stores. You enhance and influence performance by providing approved store partners with the support and essential support needed to develop their skills.

While leveraging your retail experience, you will be able to:

  • Grow a successful business portfolio: Develop district-wide strategies to achieve each store's customer service, operations and financial goals, focusing on unique strengths and challenges that presents each one of them.
  • Lead a team of leaders: Motivate, coach and strengthen the leadership of store managers as managers, operators and contractors.
  • Act as a resource person: Provide expert advice on key client issues, team management and staffing, in-store operations, and company policies and procedures.

We would like to meet candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Have at least five years of experience managing at least two stores, departments or units, in the analysis of gains and losses, inventory analysis, operations and customer service
  • Have at least five years of experience managing a team of six or more, with training and coaching, and excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Have at least three years of experience in a customer service role
  • Work experience in a multiple unit environment, knowledge of operations in the retail or foodservice sectors, experience in financial reporting
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • At a minimum, high school diploma or general education assessment (GED). Note: A university degree in commerce or a related field may replace some of the required experience.

Requirements

  • Proof of identity and eligibility for employment in Canada
  • Be willing to work full-time (the job requires more than 40 hours of work regularly) on a flexible schedule, including early morning, evening, weekend, night and holidays.
