Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated ServiceNow Resource to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, understanding its capabilities, and utilizing best practices for development and administration. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, understanding its capabilities, and utilizing best practices for development and administration. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality, innovative, and effective solutions that enhance business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure ServiceNow modules (Incident, Problem, Change Management, CMDB, Service Catalog, etc.) according to business requirements.
- Customize ServiceNow workflows, forms, and views to optimize user experience and business processes.
- Ensure ServiceNow solutions are developed in line with industry best practices and are scalable, sustainable, and maintainable.
- Manage and maintain the ServiceNow platform to ensure its optimal performance, including patching, updates, and version control.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate platform issues as needed, ensuring minimal system downtime.
- Develop and implement custom business logic using scripting languages like JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow's own scripting tools.
- Create and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy.
- Provide support for end-users by responding to and resolving incidents, requests, and technical issues.
- Conduct user training and workshops on how to effectively use ServiceNow features and functionalities.
- Work closely with stakeholders and other teams (e.g., IT, HR, Operations) to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Generate reports and dashboards within ServiceNow to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience with ServiceNow platform (preferably 2-3 years).
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Service Catalog, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow-specific scripting techniques.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, Web Services).
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow administration tasks, including user management, security, and update sets.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
