Are you ready to take on a key role with a dynamic, global leader in the public safety and geospatial market?



Hexagon SIG is seeking a Proposal Pricing Analyst to join our North America Bids and Proposals team in a permanent, full-time position based in Canada.


In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our bid and proposal development process, working closely with multiple departments to support both prospective and existing customers. You will report to the existing customers Team Manager and will be responsible for preparing and submitting proposal documents—both financial and written—while collaborating with various teams across the organization, from proposal colleagues, Project Management Office (PMO), the Global Product Centre (GPC), local business unit development, technical resources, sales, industry consultants, and corporate senior leadership teams.


The Proposal Pricing Analyst will be integral to the overall proposal development cycle, gathering critical information, ensuring compliance, and assisting in the creation of thoroughly vetted responses. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our bids align with corporate strategies, meet client needs, and comply with all required processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Review & Development: Review solicitation requests and customer requirements to ensure written and cost responses meet customer expectations.
  • Timelines & Deliverables: Establish internal timelines and proposal deliverables based on request reviews, ensuring adherence to deadlines throughout the proposal development process
  • Status Updates: Provide regular progress updates on proposal activities, including needs and assignments, to ensure smooth team coordination and timely submission.
  • Multi-Opportunity Support: Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, prioritize assignments, and complete tasks within firm deadlines, while working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Product & Solution Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s software, service solutions, pricing structures, licensing models, and internal policies and processes.


Qualifications:

  • Experience with Proposal Documents: Familiarity with the structure and requirements of formal proposal documents such as Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Rough Orders of Magnitude (ROMs), Statements of Work (SOW), Time and Materials (T&M) contracts, and Project Change Requests (PCRs).
  • Strong Delegation & Time Management: Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Ability to work with various teams and resources across departments and geographies, ensuring smooth coordination and information flow.
  • Self-Management & Remote Work: Ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks independently, with flexibility to work remotely as needed to meet proposal deadlines.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong technical, financial, and analytical skills, especially in analyzing proposal requirements and costing.
  • Organization & Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the discipline to review your own work, as well as participate in peer reviews.
  • Software Proficiency: Comfortable working with various software tools, including Microsoft TEAMS, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent college diploma in Finance, Business, Communications, Contract Management, Technical Writing, or English is preferred.
  • Experience: Pricing, project accounting, financial analysis, project management, or contract administration is a plus.
