What You’ll Like About This Job
FortisBC is seeking Technical Analysts for a 6-month temporary assignment supporting IS infrastructure across Castlegar and Trail, BC. The role leads initiatives in data centers, cyber security, cloud architecture, and enterprise tech support. Ideal for experienced IT professionals with strong leadership skills and a passion for complex systems planning and troubleshooting.

- 2-year diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
- Advanced knowledge of infrastructure systems, networking, cyber security, and cloud technology
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Class 5 BC Driver’s license
- Ability to travel as required
- Experience managing IS projects across multiple infrastructure domains
- Proficiency in developing Infrastructure Roadmaps and lifecycle strategies
- Capacity to lead change management and technical evaluations
