What You Will Do
Summary
Providence Health Care is hiring a Resident Care Manager for the long-term care facility at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital, a 60-resident home located within a hospital setting in Vancouver.
MSJ is part of a network of six long-term care homes and one assisted living residence operated by Providence across the Lower Mainland. These homes provide 24-hour nursing care, along with medical and personal support to meet the social, leisure, and daily living needs of seniors. Staff work 8-hour shifts to ensure consistent, compassionate care.

In this role, you will:
- Provide leadership and supervision to interdisciplinary staff, including Clinical Nurse Leaders and Unit Supervisors
- Collaborate with a Physician Leader to ensure effective and efficient care delivery
- Promote integrated care across the continuum, working with internal teams and external partners
- Drive quality improvement, staff development, and resource optimization strategies
- Contribute to strategic planning and operational alignment within the Program-Based Care Model

What You Bring
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
The following qualifications and competencies are required to successfully provide the leadership necessary to fulfill the Mission and Values of Providence Health Care.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related health profession
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience at the middle management level in a medium to large health care organization
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
