What You Will Do


Summary


Providence Health Care is hiring a Resident Care Manager for the long-term care facility at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital, a 60-resident home located within a hospital setting in Vancouver.


MSJ is part of a network of six long-term care homes and one assisted living residence operated by Providence across the Lower Mainland. These homes provide 24-hour nursing care, along with medical and personal support to meet the social, leisure, and daily living needs of seniors. Staff work 8-hour shifts to ensure consistent, compassionate care.

In this role, you will:


  • Provide leadership and supervision to interdisciplinary staff, including Clinical Nurse Leaders and Unit Supervisors
  • Collaborate with a Physician Leader to ensure effective and efficient care delivery
  • Promote integrated care across the continuum, working with internal teams and external partners
  • Drive quality improvement, staff development, and resource optimization strategies
  • Contribute to strategic planning and operational alignment within the Program-Based Care Model

What You Bring

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related health profession
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience at the middle management level in a medium to large health care organization
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
