Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-directed Senior Software QA Analyst to lead the quality
assurance efforts for a suite of interrelated product features. The ideal candidate will have a deep
understanding of QA principles, tools, and emerging technologies, ensuring the delivery of highquality
software solutions. This role requires technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a
proactive approach to deliver a top-quality product. This position reports to Manager of Quality
Assurance.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-directed Senior Software QA Analyst to lead the quality
assurance efforts for a suite of interrelated product features. The ideal candidate will have a deep
understanding of QA principles, tools, and emerging technologies, ensuring the delivery of highquality
software solutions. This role requires technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a
proactive approach to deliver a top-quality product. This position reports to Manager of Quality
Assurance.
General Responsibilities
- Create testing related documentations, including test plan, test strategies, test cases/scripts for an interconnected set of product features.
- Establish and maintain test harnesses, test data, and infrastructure to evaluate system performance effectively.
- Automate and collaborate with automation team to automate features for better regression coverage or create automation tool to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Act as the subject matter expert in one or more technical domains of software testing.
- Operate at architecture and code level, driving technical discussions during design/implementation reviews.
- Be the technical QA expert in performance testing, security testing, and other specialized testing activities as required and be knowledgeable at decision-marking to deliver high quality product.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to junior QA analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience in setting up test environments, test data, and performance testing frameworks.
- Expertise in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, or similar).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration with testing frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring junior QA professionals.
- Experience testing/evaluating software against various hardware components (hard drive types, GPU/video cards, memory configurations, etc.)
- Keen interest in biological sciences/medical/healthcare applications is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, biological sciences/medical/healthcare or related field.
