Summary
The General Manager position will support the VP/Regional General Manager with all aspects of casino operations, including Table Games, Slots, Food & Beverage, Customer Service, Security, Promotions and Marketing, Facilities, Purchasing and Human Resources.

- Provides oversight of the management team for all departments
- Provides oversight for the departmental business plans for budgets, adhering to established guidelines, timetables and approved resources.
- Evaluates all internal procedures and seeks refinements and improvements to the departmental processes and business operations.
- Analyzes financial data to determine the most effective organizational plan for the operation.
- Participates in formulating and administering company policies, directs and coordinates department activities.
- Reviews analysis of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives.
- Develops, reviews, updates and implements business strategic planning including financial performance, internal controls and approved AGLC policies and procedures.
- Promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction.
- Assists with quality hiring, training and succession planning.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
- Travel is required.
- Minimum 7 years’ management experience in the service, hospitality or gaming industries
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Casino operations and management experience required.
- Excellent management, negotiating and organizational skills;
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and achieve results;
- Experience in budgeting, project management, supervision of accounting, operations and human resources
- Works effectively in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment, and is able to direct and work in harmony with a diverse group of highly motivated and capable individuals.
- Must be able to stand/sit for prolonged time periods
- Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching and prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines.
