An established design firm is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Intermediate Interior Designer to join their team on-site in Vancouver . This position involves leading small to mid-size projects independently and supporting senior designers on larger-scale assignments. The successful candidate will bring strong technical skills , a keen design eye , and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion .

The Role
An established design firm is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Intermediate Interior Designer to join their team on-site in Vancouver . This position involves leading small to mid-size projects independently and supporting senior designers on larger-scale assignments. The successful candidate will bring strong technical skills , a keen design eye , and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion .
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage interior design projects from concept through completion.
- Support senior designers in design development and execution for larger-scale projects.
- Develop and present creative, cohesive design proposals to clients.
- Create detailed drawings, plans, and 3D models using design software.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and manage permitting processes as required.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Stay current with industry trends , materials, and best practices.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in residential interior design .
- Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp .
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of BC building codes and permitting procedures .
- Project Management: Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget .
- Portfolio: Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of interior design work.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills .
