IATA’s Business Intelligence Services (BIS) are the focal point and driving force for data management and global BI services for the aviation industry. In this role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Management and Technology, you will support the day-to-day administrative operations of the Aircraft, Environment and Operation Data team(AEOD team) under BIS.
What Your Day Would Be Like
Provide Level 1 support using Confluence, AWS-Athena, Power BI, JIRA for all BIS clients; triage and track all incoming queries;
Support the AEOD team with post-sale technical activities;
Assist in the preparation of ad-doc reports/documents/analytics as needed;
Maintain and develop the Turbulence Aware Engagement Tracker Dashboard and the Analytics Dashboard.
Provide additional support as required to the Senior Manager, Data Management and Technology and to the Product Specialist, AEOD Team.
We would love to hear from you if
University degree in a relevant discipline, such as Business, Information Technology, or Data Science;
Ability to set priorities and work efficiently with a strong customer focus and a high level of drive and energy;
Strong IT skills and experience with data analysis fundamentals, including proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, DAX, Python, Confluence, SQL and JIRA. Capable of presenting data visually using data visualization and analysis tools;
Good understanding of the aviation industry; knowledge or experience as a pilot would be a great asset;
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances;
Fluency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of additional regional language(s)is an asset.
