Position Summary
Strike's Electrical Project Coordinator provides administrative project management assistance. The coordinator is responsible for overseeing cost activities, document control, and estimating on construction projects of all sizes. The project coordinator analyzes and forecasts project costs and provides detailed project information related to contractual schedule, scope and cost, recommending improvements or corrective actions for the project.

Strike's Electrical Project Coordinator provides administrative project management assistance. The project coordinator analyzes and forecasts project costs and provides detailed project information related to contractual schedule, scope and cost, recommending improvements or corrective actions for the project.
POSITION DETAILS
- Local work in Fort Saskatchewan
- 5/2 shift
- 48-hour work week
- Misc. Purchasing – coordinated with Superintendent
- Tracking of installed quantities
- Change order research and takeoffs
- Coordinate electrical field install work packages
- Complete 3-week look ahead
- Working with other contractors and owner to schedule work
Education
- Must be a certified Journeyperson Electrician
- Must have at least 3 years of experience as a journeyperson
- Previous project coordinator experience is an asset
- Previous supervisory experience is an asset
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
- Exemplary professional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Meticulous record-keeping skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
