WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Key Accounts - LATAM (1 year contract) who will act as the LATAM lead for the Key Account Management (Partnerships) Team at DECIEM. This includes managing relationships with select retailers and acting as The Ordinary's key point of contact for Estée Lauder Companies teams based in LATAM. All of this is to be done in close collaboration with the Senior Director, Markets - Americas.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Toronto office.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Contribute to shaping and executing a winning strategy for DECIEM in the Latin America region to grow market share and gain rank
  • Develop robust 360° strategies to exceed net and retail sales goals, profitability, and key performance indicators across the region. Ensure local relevancy, speed to market, and executional excellence
  • Set and revise monthly sales plans to ensure LATAM sales are on track and trending forward
  • Ensure consistent, always-on programming for hero products and new product launches. Execute winning launches by utilizing all available resources. Negotiate incremental secondary exposures and consistently challenge the status quo to test and learn with retailers to gain share and rank
  • Cascade global brand strategy to affiliate and ensure adherence to brand ethos and guidelines
  • Partner with local teams to build out LRP, market P&L’s and expansion plans aligning on commercial terms with Senior Director oversight
  • Oversee the LATAM OPEX budget in collaboration with ELC affiliate teams, ensuring all programs are executed on time and within budget. Communicate any variances to the Finance team to ensure profitability targets are met
  • Serve as the key point of contact for LATAM Estée Lauder Companies local country teams. Build strong relationships across teams to champion the brand and be visible to local retailers
  • Play a key role in the integration of the LATAM affiliates, ensuring clear ways of working and efficient market performance and interaction with retail partners
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships among key internal cross-functional partners, including but not limited to Demand Planning, SCM, Sales and Account Planning, Brand, Education, Visual Merchandising, L&D, Communications, and Digital
  • Partner with Brand and Communications Leads to develop winning omni-channel go-to-market plans that are impactful and disruptive with a strong focus on EMV.. Ensure retailer.com growth across accounts and work to ensure fit-for-purpose assets by mobilizing cross-functional teams to deliver on retailer objectives on time and within scope

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • Demonstrated understanding of the beauty market, particularly in the Latin America region
  • At least 5 years of key account management experience is required to be considered
  • Strategic thinker with an extensive ability to operationalize plans
  • Skilled at time management with a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure – managing conflicting priorities and tight deadlines in an unstructured environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills – both written and oral – with the ability to work with all levels of staff and management across various departments
  • Written and verbal communication skills in Spanish is an asset
