Position Overview:

IT Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

The IT Shipping & Receiving Coordinatorwill work on client site, responsible for carrying out various shipping, receiving, material handling and inventory control tasks. This role will focus primarily on handling shipping and receiving duties but will be engaged cross-functionally to enable flexibility within the team to adjust to the changing needs and priorities for the day.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is passionate about learning, relentlessly curious, collaborative, and has a desire to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and Verifying Incoming Shipments against POs and Invoices.
  • Inspecting items for quality and quantity
  • Documenting and labeling received goods
  • Updating tickets in ITSM tool to reflect quantity and quality of goods
  • Creating asset IDs in ITSM tool
  • Other responsibilities might be required as dedicated by client needs


Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a warehousing, logistics and transportation environment is beneficial
  • Proven proficiency with use of computers, computerized business management systems and use of barcode scanners
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (2016 and 365)
  • Experience with computer hardware deployment is beneficial
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fluid and fast paced environment, with frequent short timelines.
  • Ability to work overtime (evenings and weekends) to respond to customer (internal or external) needs
  • Must be able to lift/move 50lbs
