About The Opportunity

Our client in the Central Ottawa area is looking for an Accounts Payables Specialist to join their fast-paced, growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • High volume, full-cycle accounts payables
  • Matching, batching, coding of invoices, obtaining approvals from appropriate sources
  • Preparation of cheques and EFTs
  • Processing expenses, verifying information, preparing payments and cash advances
  • Bank account and credit card reconciliations
  • Processing outstanding payments, updating appropriate payment reports
  • Assist with Accounts Receivables as necessary
  • Liaise with vendors as needed, answering inquiries while providing quality and professional direction

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • 2+ years experience in full-cycle Accounts Payables within a high-volume environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (English imperative, priority will be given to those who are fluently bilingual in both official languages, English & French)
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
