Your Role Within The Team

  • Plans and organizes the delivery of documentation for engineering or construction-related projects.
  • Schedules and coordinates complex engineering tasks with all the internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinates with engineering and project management staff to ensure work is performed under the proper QA guidelines
  • Guides and supervises internal staff to ensure deliverables are issued to the stakeholders on time.
  • Monitors contractor's progress against schedule and prepares progress reports.
  • Most assignments are performed independently, making decisions on technical problems. Receives general instructions regarding assignment objectives and expected results.
  • Supervises and reviews the work of junior professionals, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments.
  • Interfaces with senior technical professionals, technical managers, and administrative staff and managers as necessary.
  • External contacts (Required interaction/relationship with others outside the organization): Represents the firm dealings with clients, contractors and regulatory agency personnel.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field plus six years related experience, including personnel supervision. Engineering design experience desirable.
  • Leadership and managerial skills; analytical and organization skills; ability to supervise field representatives and field office personnel.
  • Client Service, Commitment, Communication, Innovation & Continuous Improvement, Professionalism, Quality, and Teamwork.
  • Job requires the ability to process paper and electronic documents, utilizing the Microsoft Office suite amongst a variety of internal software
  • Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing. Job also requires ability to plan and prioritize tasks, project plans and progress reports.
