- Contribute to the morale and well-being of the culinary team by leading by example and demonstrating our core values.
- Take an active roll in our mentoring junior staff through their apprenticeship
- Assist with the onboarding of team members and consistent training and development of refining the department.
- Assist with the management of the day-to-day operations ensuring quality, standards and guest expectations are met.
- Assist the Executive Chef with collaborative menu planning.
- Contribute to culinary opportunities through new revenue channels and through the expansion of our current program offerings.
- Involved with the purchasing and receiving procedures for products and supplies to ensure proper quantity, quality, and price for all purchases.
- Have an extensive culinary management experience in a full service restaurant.
- Proven management skills including hiring, training, scheduling, discipline.
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Have flexible full-time availability; holiday, evening and weekend shifts are required.
- Financial management skills including budgeting, inventory and labour control.
