Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Internal Accountant located in Sherwood Park, AB. The Internal Accountant will be responsible for handling financial data, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven work experience with similar roles.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial analysis techniques.
• Strong proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems (QuickBooks, VantagePoint ERP), and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
