The shift pattern for this position is 0900-1700 Monday to Friday. Some shifts each month will fall out with 0900-1700 to meet the demands of the service

An MDT coordinator is required within the Diabetes/Endocrinology Department to help aid and support the patients pathway. This can be a demanding role with high volume workload, requiring the post holder to be able to prioritise workload. We are therefore looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and friendly individual. Occasional assistance in other admin roles may be required within the service.

  • Working closely with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team and associated clerical staff.
  • To play a pivotal role in providing administration support for the Multi- Disciplinary Team (MDT) in order to deliver outcomes and targets.
  • The post holder will provide a high level administration/secretarial service and facilitate the collection, analysis and presentation of data within the service.
  • The post holder will be responsible for arranging appointment for patients in connection with the MDT.

This role is based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
