Document Control Assistant - Summer Student

Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, the Document Control Assistant will support the Quality Systems department with data entry within the company’s Product Life Cycle (PLM) software.
This will be a seasonal, temporary position during the months of June through August working full-time hours (40).
Please note this is an in-office position, located at our head office in Ottawa, ON, address: 2650 Queensview Dr. Unit #150, Ottawa, ON K2B 8H6.

Your Challenge
- Input data into the ARAS software
- Verify accuracy of the relationship links within the database
- Review entered data for completeness
- Maintain integrity of information
- Coordinate with stakeholders across multiple departments to ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and complete
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree or Technologist/Technician in Manufacturing, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- A combination of hands-on work experience and education will be considered in lieu of identified educational requirements.
- No prior data entry experience required
- Working directly in a team environment, and communicate effectively through electronic tools and in-person meetings
- Interpersonal and team membership skills
- Time management and organizational skills in a technical environment
- Strong attention to detail required
