Intermediate Accountant

Univerus is a global enterprise software company providing solutions for Local Government, Utilities and many other public and private entities. We have offices in multiple countries and locations. As an Intermediate Accountant, you will support our accounting functions with the Univerus organization and its affiliated business units. Based in our Peterborough ON office, this is your opportunity to join a rapidly growing international software organization. Anticipated work hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 4.30 pm.

Senior positions may be considered in the event the applicant exceeds the skills and abilities listed.

What You’ll Do

• Perform day to day full-cycle accounting including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank/visa reconciliation, invoicing and wire/ACH/EFT payment.
• Maintaining recurring invoicing schedule and deferred revenue schedule
• Processing invoicing requests
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries.
• Analyze financial data and assist in the preparation of financial forecasts
• Perform other accounting duties as required
• Solving customer inquiries and internal inquiries
