About our client
They are a full-service landscape construction company. They specialize in retaining walls, paving stones, gardens, landscape lighting, inground sprinklers, water features, fences, wood structures, real and artificial turf & pools. Their maintenance division takes care of residential and commercial stratas in need of weekly maintenance. When winter time rolls around they are here to help your strata property with salting and snow removal. Their primary focus for landscape construction is residential projects.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of residential landscape projects and hands-on experience with landscape construction. Essential requirements include:
As an Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimating process for all landscape projects. Your duties will include reviewing project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements, and preparing accurate cost estimates for labour, materials, and equipment. Additionally, you will collaborate with the team to help keep projects on schedule and organized. Negotiating pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids will also be part of your responsibilities.
A strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills, is essential. The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines is also important. Proven experience in construction estimating or project management is required.

- Meet with clients to discuss project needs and requirements
- Provide suggestions, guidance, and designs
- Prepare accurate project quotes
- Organize upcoming projects
- Relay project details to the site foreman
- Check in with the site foreman throughout the project to ensure it stays on track
- Follow up with clients throughout the project and upon completion
- Document projects with photos and videos before, during, and after completion

- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
- Experience with landscape construction, design, and plants
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
