We are looking for a Junior IT Analyst to join our team!
The Junior IT Analyst will support the tracking of assets, compliance, and reporting within the organization. This role involves coordinating and reporting on the work done by external consultants and internal IT teams, tracking and reporting on the progress of tasks, coordinating activities with external parties such as vendors and support providers, reporting on costs, and tracking service desk metrics.
Status: Permanent full-time, 37.5 hours per week; some evenings/weekends may be required. Note, this posting is for an active vacancy.
Salary: $47,223.00 - $55,556.47 annually (Candidate qualifications will be considered when determining the starting salary)
Location: This position is based out of 314-7700 Hurontario St., Brampton. Although we operate within a hybrid workplace model, staff are required to have on-site and/or community presence as per program and client needs.
What You Will Do:
- Track and manage IT assets, ensuring accurate records and compliance with organizational policies
- Coordinate and report on the work being done by external consultants and internal IT teams
- Track and report on the progress of IT tasks and projects
- Coordinate activities with external parties such as vendors and support providers
- Report on IT-related costs and budget adherence
- Track and analyze service desk metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement, supporting strategic goals related to service excellence and timely service delivery
- Assist in the documentation and maintenance of IT applications, records, databases, and diagrams
- Support the implementation of IT projects and deployment of applications
- Assist in the provision of support to staff for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues
- Liaise with third-party vendors to escalate and resolve technical inquiries and issues
- Assist in the provision of in-office, remote, and at-home customer support to all staff
- Work with IT, corporate services, and clinical teams to facilitate deployments of new hardware, software, services, and upgrades to the IT infrastructure
- Support change management initiatives for network infrastructure, configurations, applications, and IT services to meet organizational needs and maintain business continuity
- Assist in the development, configuration, testing, and implementation of new solutions and applications that address evolving business needs and enhance overall operational efficacies

What You Need to Join Our Team:
- Post-secondary (degree or diploma) education in an Information Technology or business discipline
- Minimum two (2) years of work experience in Information Technology or business operations role involved in support and analytics/reporting activities
- Training in cybersecurity and project coordination/management are assets
- Experience in not-for-profit or health care environment is an asset
- Technical knowledge in Microsoft technology platforms including Microsoft365, Windows, Intune, PowerApps, Power Automate, and the Azure cloud platform
- Knowledge of testing new systems, applications, or upgrades to ensure they meet specified requirements
- Excellent knowledge of hardware, software, networks and databases
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to approach, listen, build trust, and communicate across diverse cultures and intersectionality. Willingness to continually improve understanding around cultural competence.
- Willingness to learn and apply practical understanding of different elements of diversity, such as gender identity/expression, race/cultural background, religion, sexual orientation, disability, immigration and precarious status, family status, etc.
- Openness to operate from an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, 2SLGBTQ+ affirming and intersectional framework.
- Ability to work flexible hours at multiple office locations across Brampton and Dufferin County including occasional evenings and weekends
- A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening (Police Check) report
