Date: 2 weeks ago
City: Surrey, British Columbia
Contract type: Full time

We’re on the hunt for a Head of Strategic Projects who thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments and knows how to turn vision into action. This hybrid role blends product leadership with hands-on operations, perfect for someone who can own outcomes, bring clarity to chaos, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Why You’ll Love This Opportunity:

  • High-impact role reporting directly to senior leadership
  • Fast-moving, mission-driven culture that values innovation, ownership, and execution
  • Extended health & dental benefits after 90 days
  • 2 Weeks Holiday

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and drive end-to-end product and operational roadmaps
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of key initiatives across technical and non-technical domains. Ensure alignment between cross-functional teams and strategic company objectives.
  • Translate vision into executable plans
  • Partner directly with senior leadership to break down high-level strategy into concrete goals, action plans, and deliverables. Drive accountability and clarity across all workstreams.
  • Act as a connective tissue across teams
  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, marketers, operations staff, and external partners to ensure project success—from ideation through launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Lead cross-functional product discovery and execution
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis, and market research. Define clear product requirements, prioritize features, and coordinate seamless cross-team implementation.
  • Bring new initiatives to life
  • Spearhead the launch of new brands, internal tools, workflows, or external integrations. Own projects from zero to one and iterate based on data and user insights.
  • Establish and track KPIs and performance metrics
  • Create and maintain dashboards or reporting systems to monitor initiative success. Use data to guide decisions, identify bottlenecks, and recommend pivots or enhancements.
  • Develop scalable processes that enable speed and clarity
  • Design and evolve lightweight, agile workflows that help teams move faster without unnecessary bureaucracy. Encourage a test-and-learn culture.
  • Anticipate risks and remove roadblocks
  • Proactively identify operational and strategic risks, surface issues early, and work cross-functionally to resolve challenges before they impact momentum.
  • Facilitate communication and documentation
  • Ensure project updates, timelines, and expectations are clearly communicated across stakeholders. Maintain centralized documentation for transparency and alignment.
  • Champion a culture of accountability and ownership
  • Set the standard for operational excellence. Encourage a mindset of curiosity, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive operational readiness for product launches and process changes
  • Coordinate change management, training, and rollout plans to ensure new initiatives land effectively and with adoption across teams.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner
  • Provide insight and support for key decisions at the leadership level, helping shape the future roadmap of both the product and company.

What We're Looking For:

  • 6+ years experience in product management, strategy, or operations—ideally in a startup or multi-brand environment
  • Proven track record of shipping both tech and non-tech products from zero to one
  • Strong organizational and communication skills—you can wrangle ambiguity and get things done
  • Comfortable owning both strategy and execution: big picture thinker, detail-oriented executor
  • Experience working with healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated industries is an asset
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and PM tools.

Additional Details:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Work is primarily performed at our headquarters in Surrey.
  • Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (may include weekends).
  • Start date: ASAP.
  • Closing date: Open until the right candidate is found.
