Finance Manager, Brand Marketing

Position Overview:
The Finance Manager, Brand Marketing will play a critical role partnering with the Marketing Organization to support driving strategic business growth on our portfolio of brands. This role requires deep understanding portfolio tactics to promote growth in an effective and efficient way. This role will have financial accountability over the performance of the Brand P&L as well as budgeting, forecasting and execution of Innovation, Renovation and A&P investments. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration to deliver strong accuracy, meet fast-paced timelines, all the while driving performance through clear insights, actions and accountability. The role offers great developmental opportunities in a high growth environment and will have one direct report.

Role Accountabilities:
1. Business-Driven Partnerships
o Leads the marketing team in identifying and pursuing opportunities that maximize shareholder value; influences to develop and execute LT strategies.
o Drives sound financial business insights and recommendations that lead to decisions that balance P&L performance while supporting healthy brand growth.
o Thought leadership to encourage ROI mindsets through A&P investments & portfolio choices with an ability to identify and influence solutions.
o Partnership to drive action & accountability across the P&L through effective tools, communication and prioritization.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting:
o Lead the end-to-end Innovation, Renovation & A&P budgeting and forecasting processes through S&OP Cycle with strong communication across the organization.
o Business mindset with ability to highlight prioritized financial objectives, while driving clear accountability and ownership to support business growth.
o Identify and manage risks, ensuring corrective actions are taken, when necessary, through balanced and clear recommendations.
3. Financial Analysis & Reporting:
o Timely delivery of financial reports, highlighting variances and providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
o Analyze financial performance by brand, with a deep understanding of consumer-driven initiatives – internally and externally.
o Develops value-added insights through financial reporting tools, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor brand performance.
4. Financial Modeling & Scenario Analysis
o Build effective and sustainable financial models to support decision-making related to business initiatives including innovation, renovation & ROIs.
o Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate the financial impact of various strategies
o Create innovative solutions to dynamic business needs that are effective, simple and sustainable.

Candidate Profile:
Professional Requirements and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
- 5-8 years of various experiences in finance, with at least 2 years’ experience creating, leading and implementing strategic frameworks
- Proven ability to build trusting relationships at all levels and across all functions; ability to effectively communicate and influence business strategy & execution
- Strong track record of operating with gold-standard finance partnerships with an ability to influence senior leaders on the direction of the business.
- The ability to synthesize complex matters into simple and attainable solutions
- Experience in a dynamic commercial facing role, with ability to bring multiple cross-functional stakeholders together to achieve growth.
- End-to-end experience managing a P&L holistically in a consumer and brand driven environment
- Ability to navigate an ambiguous environment through an ability to be agile in a fast-paced environment, while delivering against goals.
