JOB TITLE: CHIEF STEAM ENGINEER/ CLASS 3 SENIOR TECHNICIAN - BLOCKMOULD

LOCATION: WINNIPEG, MANITOBA

We are looking for a Chief Steam Engineer to support our Plant Operations in Winnipeg, MB.

Job Responsibilities

• Able to perform Blockmoulder or Prefoamer tasks interchangeably.
• Perform blockmoulding operation consisting of filling mould cavity and adjusting all gauges as required to produce a quality block to meet CGSB guidelines.
• Moving raw material and blocks as required.
• Operation of pre-expanders to specified densities and volumes consistently.
• Ensure that all necessary information is recorded accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Report any irregularities in equipment or bead performance.
• Perform regular density checks.
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills And Knowledge Required

• Must have good math and analytical skills and an understanding of the prefoaming and blockmoulding processes.
• Physically able to frequently handle awkward and heavy material.
• Able to organize and complete work with minimum supervision.
• Able to complete paperwork as required.
• Able to prefoam consistently and according to standard operating practices.
• Able to blockmould consistently with required fusion and weight.
  
  

Educational Qualifications

• 3rd Class Stationary Engineer ticket.
• Tow Motor license/certificate.
