CBoC undertakes research to address the most pressing issues in Innovation and Technology, Human Capital, Sustainability, Immigration, Indigenous and Northern Communities, Education and Skills, and Health. Our social science research provides actionable pathways to solutions. Simply put, we deliver insights that help Canada’s leaders cut through the noise and make informed decisions.

We are seeking a Systems Analyst Co-op to join our Information Technology team.

Our Ideal Candidate is…. highly analytical, making you a natural in leading key activities, such as administrating and maintaining data integration between systems and applications. Proven record of accomplishment of troubleshooting and resolving issues. You constantly look for solutions that ensure quality as well as efficiency, and consistently demonstrated strong relationship management with clients. You enjoy new challenges and working in a collaborative, team environment.

We are a virtual organization and as a remote worker you must be comfortable and able to work 100 per cent of the time from a home office in Canada. To be successful as a remote worker you need to have a self-starter attitude, possess strong organizational and time management skills and be a proactive communicator. Having a home office environment that provides for a productive, professional, and safe work environment during regular working/business hours is a requirement of this role. This includes internet service and a reliable connection.

About The Role

  • Consistently provides professional, friendly and engaging services to all users as a trustworthy advisor.
  • Provide technical administration and support for our 3rd party enterprise applications.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for procurement of equipment and setup.
  • IT inventory and asset management, service request, catalogue and standard operating methods.
  • Support access management and identity management
  • Maintain enterprise applications by resolving data integration, system integration and production issues.
  • Install, maintain and configure application software and computer hardware.
  • Commitment to producing high quality work and demonstrating professional values in all aspects of work and interactions with colleagues and customers.
  • Manage technical documentation, user guides and training equipment.

About You

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Working towards a post-secondary degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Having a home office environment that provides for a productive, professional, and safe work environment during regular working hours is a requirement of this role.
  • Experience working with the following technologies are an asset:
  • Active Directory
  • Windows Server 2016/19
  • Azure, cloud environments
  • Windows 10 / 11
  • Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams
  • MS Intune Support
  • SQL relational databases
  • IT employee onboarding duties
  • IT Administrative duties

The salary for this position ranges from $41,310 to $55,890 annually for candidates from any Canadian province or territory. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, specific skillsets, as well as market and business considerations.
