About The Role

WDHS is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic administration assistant to join the Infection Prevention and Control team.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support to the Infection Prevention and Control team. Hours will be 24 hours per fortnight Monday to Friday.

Duties will include but not be limited to maintaining and updating staff health records; Data entry - Payglobal, Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) for staff and patients; AIR data searches for Aged Care facilities: new residents and respite clients; Ordering stock and pathology supplies as required. Cover office when Infection, Prevention and Control staff are out of the office, triage calls and ensure that messages are relayed in a timely manner; Provide advice to callers within scope of understanding e.g. how to obtain a RAT, PCR, contact Dorevitch Re: missing or delayed pathology results; General administration duties including sourcing non-stock items, mail collection, collating Occupational exposure packages; scanning documents; updating calendar and roster with meetings, appointments etc.

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police Check. Dependant on your position you may be required to obtain a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check and / or NDIS Worker Screening Check. All successful applicants are to comply with WDHS immunisation and vaccination requirements.
