Broad Objectives:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Lean Champion to lead and drive our organization’s Lean transformation initiatives. The Lean Champion will be responsible for promoting a culture of continuous improvement, training teams on Lean principles, and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency. This role plays a critical part in identifying opportunities for improvement and fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate Lean initiatives, including Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and process improvement projects.
  • Develop and deliver Lean training programs to employees at all levels, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste; recommend and implement actionable solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align Lean activities with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Establish and track metrics to measure the effectiveness and sustainability of Lean initiatives.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to employees, empowering them to identify and address process challenges independently.
  • Communicate progress, successes, and challenges to leadership and other stakeholders through reports and presentations.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ensure alignment of Lean efforts with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications And Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) is often preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to drive informed decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage change effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to train, mentor, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
