Job Title: Programmer/Software Developer
Clearance: Secret security clearance
Duration: 18 months
Location: Remote, but occasional meetings onsite in the NCR.
Procom is seeking an experienced
Programmer/Software Developer to join our Federal Government of Canada client. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and preparing diagrammatic plans to solve business, scientific, and technical problems using computer systems of significant size and complexity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
- Analyze business requirements and design system architectures, workflows, and process diagrams.
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot applications to ensure accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
- Develop and document detailed system designs, including flowcharts, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Perform business analysis, identify information flows, and develop high-level and detailed requirements.
- Ensure system integrity through testing, issue resolution, and acceptance test runs.
- Collaborate with IT Security for vulnerability, threat, and risk assessments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including functional specs, user guides, and test cases.
- Provide ongoing support, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer to support teams.
- Design and implement integration solutions for multiple systems, including HR, finance, and data management platforms.
- Present findings, recommendations, and proofs of concept to stakeholders.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Programmer/Software Developer.
- Post-secondary education in Information Technology from a recognized institution.
- Experience working on at least one project within the last 5 years for a minimum of 3 months as an A.6 Programmer/Software Developer using Microsoft Dynamics 365 with Microsoft Power Platform.
- 3 years of experience in professional services for the integration of multiple systems using industry standards and technologies (e.g., HR, financial, data-driven, or document management systems).
- One or more certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Microsoft Power Platform.
- 3 years of experience designing and developing within Microsoft Dynamics 365 using Microsoft Power Platform.
- 1 year of experience in:
- Performing business analyses of functional requirements.
- Developing system architectures and detailed designs.
- Configuring systems to meet functional specifications.
- Experience working with North52 business rules engine with one or more of the following:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Dataverse
- Power Apps
- Dynamics Portals
