Rate of Pay: $48.09 - $63.11 PCN: 10AdFin005
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position will oversee and manage the finance function at Carewest. This role has responsibility for the overall development, integrity and promotion of sound financial systems including, but not limited to, financial reporting, processes, budgeting, variance analysis, policies, and analysis to support informed decision making in the organization. The Manager will have direct reporting responsibility for some members of the finance team, fostering a collaborative environment to support efficient and effective financial processes.
The Manager is expected to establish and sustain productive relationships internally in the organization, as well as externally with AHS Finance, Alberta Health (and the newly formed Assisted Living Alberta organization), Veteran Affairs Canada, and the Calgary Health Foundation. The Manager plays a leadership role within the Carewest and regularly advises operational leadership and Executive on financial strategy and risk.
