What You’ll Like About This Job
Right Choice Camps & Catering Ltd. is hiring Camp Maintenance Carpenters for a dual-location role in Sherwood Park and remote Northwestern Alberta. This job offers up to $42 per hour and includes work on modular camp accommodations, repairs, and installations. Ideal candidates will have a Class 5 license, safety certifications, and hands-on carpentry experience in industrial or camp environments.

- Full-time permanent role
- Housing available (remote camp rotation)
- Paid travel (implied through rotational schedule)
- Camp environment
- Minimum 40 hours/week
- Class 5 driver’s license (required)
- First Aid with CPR, CSTS (required)
- Fall Protection, Confined Space, and Elevated Work Platform certifications (preferred)
- AEC/DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
- Minimum 3 years carpentry experience (preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building codes
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs and perform labor-intensive tasks
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and safety mindset
- Journeyman Carpenter certification
- 3rd or 4th year carpentry apprentice
- Modular camp construction experience
- Experience with light industrial, commercial, and residential construction
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
