Position Title – C++/Java Developer

Location- Canada

Job Summary –

A 7+ years of working experience as Senior C++ or Java Developer with Python experience. Manage timelines/deliverables within the team towards the successful delivery of projects. Design software solutions by interacting with portfolio managers, traders, operations staff and peers to understand requirements. Develop solutions that are in line with the client's technology biases, deliver efficiency and scalability, and enable new trading activities. Provide knowledge transfer to team members and support staff through application demos, walkthroughs, and documentation

Years of experience needed – 7+ year.

Technical Skills:

Must Have Skills

· Knowledge and technical skills in C++

· Experience in Java and Python in an enterprise environment, covering the whole development life cycle

· Must have good communication skills, strong client-facing skills and able to manage client's expectations

Nice to have

· Good technical skills with AWS technologies such as Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3

· Capital Markets domain experience.

Responsibilities

· Manage timelines/deliverables within the team towards the successful delivery of projects.

Setting and managing expectations throughout the full project lifecycle

Process Skills:

· Capable of analyzing requirements as per project defined software process.

· Develop and peer review of LLD (Initiate/ participate in peer reviews)

· Ability to execute test plans, create test cases test data and contribute for the problem solving.

Behavioral Skills:

· Resolve technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs

· Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.

· Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction

· Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.

Qualifications:

Education qualification: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
