The Project Manager, Outside Plant - Infrastructure (OSP) will be responsible for all Telecommunication Fibre build related activities in New Brunswick to ensure time schedules are achieved and all quality standards are implemented.
You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Lead teams of installers and splicers in the field
- Sets and manages customer expectations as well as expectations of the company within Atlantic Canada
- Initiate and maintain the required communications with each project's partners, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Manage Productivity & Schedules
- Analyze plans, conduct site visits and surveys, prepare bids and quotes
- Comprehend all contractual obligations between the company and the customer
- Maintain and track project P&L margins
- Plan projects including their logistics and control the costs of their implementation
- Manage and negotiate amendments and compensation requests
- Ensure that all activities and interactions are as per the company’s code of conduct and ethics guidelines
- Maintain and forecast consumable inventory
- Adhere to all city/municipality safety requirements and training provided by company
- 10 years of relevant field experience
- 5 years of experience in telecommunications and OSP project management
- Preference given to those with PMP, CAPM or Gold Seal Recognition
- Extensive knowledge of OSP design and fiber implementation project management
- Very familiar with Eastlink, Bell & Rogers installation and repair processes
- Proficient on MS Office software’s
- Good teamwork ability
- Strong organizational skills
- Resourceful
- Must have a Class 5 driver's license and a good abstract
