About The Workplace
This role is an 12-month contract that will enjoy hybrid working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from the Vancity head office location and your Lower Mainland based home office. Periodically, you’ll be required to attend in-person activities or events.
As a Senior Consultant, Financial Planning & Analysis (Revenue), you will work with our FP&A team to ensure business leaders have timely and informative performance analysis and reporting that enables effective decision making.
A Typical Day Would Involve
The salary range for this role is $81,200 to $122,000 annually. Base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

About The Workplace

A Typical Day Would Involve
- Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders and provide strategic financial performance insight against established performance plans.
- Collect and analyze financial information and provide timely financial reporting that is dynamic, accurate, consistent and maintains data integrity.
- Consult with lines of business and provide analytics and insight that optimize divisional activities, plans and forecasting.
- Act as a senior resource and provide training and guidance to Finance Consultants to foster professional development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, or Business Administration from a recognized post-secondary institution (or equivalent)
- Chartered Professional Accountant (Canada) designation or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience at a senior consultant level or higher, would be an asset
- Business acumen in the context of the financial industry, would be an asset.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to create clear understanding of expectations, address challenges and issues for the business unit; and represent the unit across the organization.
- Results-oriented – You have a demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders in order to conduct diagnosis, analyze findings, generate appropriate options, and build deliverables all while securing their commitment to these solutions in a timely manner.
- Analytical – You seek to facilitate data-driven decision making, including “rolling up your sleeves” to collect data, research and build models.
- A problem solver – Your skills to diagnose challenges and issues, develop innovative business solutions, and assess risks and opportunities that may affect the business have been put to good use.
