As a Process Efficiency Specialist:

You will identify, assess, and execute process improvements to enhance organizational efficiency and capabilities as a part of the Enterprise Process Improvement team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Portfolio, this role supports business and culture transformation through Lean Six Sigma and Agile principles and practices. The specialist will work on enterprise initiatives to help teams achieve strategic goals efficiently. The incumbent will build effective relationships with business partners and project teams, champion change management, and collaborate to drive organizational objectives.

This is a 14-month temporary contract opportunity!

What you will do:

  • Implement key components of Meridian's strategic goals, ensuring that innovative solutions are aligned with organizational objectives and priorities.
  • Foster and champion a culture of ongoing improvement and innovation with an agile and lean approach.
  • Actively lead and coach project teams in the application of Lean and Agile principles while managing impediments and eliminating waste.
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations to improve cycle time, reduces wasteful processes and increases Member and employee satisfaction.
  • Support business units in finding the root cause and prioritizing process improvements.
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify key metrics, and activities that impact the business, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Coach others on innovative techniques to identify opportunities in achieving results in line with the organization's values, principles, and business objectives.
  • Report on Agile and Lean activities, tracking the results and value to the organization.
  • Provide process sustainment plans to encourage a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

How you will succeed:

  • Lean and Six Sigma methodology training with at least five (5) years related working experience.
  • Previous experience working in an agile environment.
  • Process design and documentation experience, including development and supporting the publication of policies and procedures.
  • Strong facilitation of Lean, Kaizen, agile ceremonies and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in process mapping using Microsoft Visio software.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking that will analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information from various sources and perspectives, and apply logic and reasoning to solve problems and make decisions.
  • A data driven problem solver that leverages data and insights to identify, prioritize, improve the Member experience, business efficiency, and increase competitive advantage.
  • Embrace change and uncertainty, explore options, and continuously learn and grow.
  • Innovative thinker that can contribute in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Active listener and coach contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, lean and agile mindset.
  • Transparent, results oriented, and accountable with strong partnership focus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact and build effective relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence, facilitate discussions, resolve conflict and build and manage relationships.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office, Visio.
  • Ability to travel within Ontario.

Join us! This role is hybrid. Our offices are located at 3280 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON, and 75 Corporate Park Dr, St. Catharines. The successful candidate may be required to travel between these offices, and within Ontario.
