Position:

As a member of Croesus Lab, the Technological Innovation Developer plays a key role in driving innovation by helping to create technology solutions that address user needs. The incumbent is involved in various activities throughout the different phases of the innovation process, including research, experimental development, analysis, prototyping, testing, and solution deployment. Additionally, the developer collaborates with engineering teams to facilitate the transfer and final implementation of these solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in research and experimental development work by implementing prototypes that address technology uncertainties related to our business opportunities.
  • Analyze and develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and innovative technology solutions.
  • Participate in the final implementation of solutions and knowledge transfer in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Document the architecture, technology choices, development, and testing of solutions.
  • Determine the steps to implement the selected solutions and assess the effort required.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members.
  • Participate in the deployment and maintenance of the Lab infrastructure.
  • Participate in preparing RS&DE reports, patents, and scientific publications with relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in the improvement of experimental and prototyping methods and standards.
  • Communicate work progress.
  • May be required to design, calibrate, develop, and deploy artificial intelligence models.
  • May be asked to support the production of newly transferred technology elements.
  • Perform other related duties.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Diverse and relevant experience (internal or external).
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in computer science, software, engineering, or related field (an asset).

  • Strong interest and curiosity in new technologies and exploration.

  • Highly adept at learning new technologies, adapting, and stepping outside one's comfort zone.

  • Full-stack skills: Python, C#, C++, and web technologies (e.g., Angular, React).
  • Skills in using AI tools.
  • Knowledge of Git or similar tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English, with the ability to simplify and summarize technical information.

Assets

  • Experience developing with LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Llama).
  • Experience developing projects in innovative environments, with regular collaboration with UX designers.
  • Knowledge of AI libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, SkLearn, Pandas, Numpy).
  • Experience in developing B2C solutions.
  • Relevant experience with emerging technologies.
  • Participation in scientific publications in a field relevant to the company.
  • Knowledge of the financial sector.
