It also owns Bally's Interactive International, formerly Gamesys Group, a leading, global, online gaming operator, Bally Bet, a first-in-class sports betting platform, and Bally Casino, a growing iCasino platform.

With 10,600 employees, the Company's casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games and 3,800 hotel rooms. Upon completing the construction of a permanent casino facility in Chicago, IL, and a land-based casino near the Nittany Mall in State College, PA, Bally's will own and/or manage 16 casinos across 11 states. Bally’s also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.

Well, what about the team?

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our regulatory filings and statutory financial statements. You will be responsible for supporting the production of timely and accurate financial reports, supporting statutory board needs and ensuring the integrity of our intercompany process. You will report directly to the Director of Statutory Reporting as part of a wider Finance team.

So, what will you be doing?

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory Board presentations and group reporting packs
  • Reviewing and posting IFRS month-end journals for multiple entities with supporting documentation
  • Assisting with quarterly reviews and annual audits of the consolidated group
  • Collaborating with the Director of Regulatory Reporting and Compliance team for accurate regulatory filings
  • Developing and maintaining routines for inter-company activities, including balance reconciliation and settlement
  • Operating in a rigorous internal controls environment and identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Assisting with internal audits and participating in cross-training and ad-hoc tasks as required

And what are we looking for?

  • Hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Hold a CPA designation or equivalent
  • Demonstrate substantial accounting experience, ideally gained in a publicly traded company
  • Be proficient in accounting software (Oracle or similar) and Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
