This position involves leading and mentoring a team of schedulers to develop and maintain a precise and comprehensive project schedule. The Lead Scheduler will provide expert guidance on forecasting, schedule variance reporting, schedule metrics, and change management.

Agilus is recruiting for a Lead Scheduler in the Oil&Gas Industry in Edmonton, Alberta.
This position involves leading and mentoring a team of schedulers to develop and maintain a precise and comprehensive project schedule. The Lead Scheduler will provide expert guidance on forecasting, schedule variance reporting, schedule metrics, and change management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide the scheduling team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
- Develop and Maintain Project Schedule: Utilize Primavera P6 to create and sustain a detailed and accurate project schedule
- Ensure the schedule is aligned with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and key project milestones
- Generate and deliver schedule variance reports, emphasizing deviations and proposing corrective actions
- Establish and monitor schedule metrics to evaluate and enhance project monitoring and performance.
- Evaluate the effects of schedule changes and effectively communicate these impacts to relevant stakeholders
- Leadership when it comes to schedules - reporting/metrics; know how to read KPI's and review them.
- Can produce reports from P6 / pull together the metrics and trends and make recommendations from the data
- Experience managing schedulers
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure pipeline projects
- Minimum one year contract - possible extension
- Valuable resume strengthening placement
