Your Impact in This Role

As an Extruder Operator, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Wear mandated PPE at all times while on the plant floor
  • Follow and abide by the companies Health & Safety policies at all times
  • Take part in regularly scheduled Health & Safety Training
  • Assemble Gaylord boxes as needed
  • Set/Monitor/Adjust extruder speeds to optimal running conditions throughout your shift
  • Set/monitor/adjust extruder temperatures based on product category being extruded
  • Monitor the Quality/integrity of the product being run on your line and advise your supervisor immediately of any concerns that may arise
  • Strive to achieve daily productivity targets
  • Change filter screens as required throughout your shift
  • Feed grinder unit while covering off for breaks
  • Label each finished box load procured from your line
  • Fill out the daily productivity tracking sheet for your line

  • Proficient in the English language (Reading/Writing)

Pay and Shift

  • $18.95/hr + $.50/hr premium (Benefits after 3 months)
  • Monday to Friday 3pm to 11pm (Overtime as required)
  • Sign on bonus
