Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Work Model: Hybrid, 3 days in-office

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an AI Integration Engineer with a development background and working knowledge of cloud-native services on AWS and/or Azure. You will help us modernize our cloud operations by integrating AI services/platforms to deliver intelligent automation, anomaly detection, and predictive monitoring.

What You’ll Do

  • Integrate AI services such as OpenAI, Amazon Personalize, Amazon Forecast, Amazon Comprehend, and Azure Cognitive Services to enable intelligent cloud operations
  • Build systems for log analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive outage prevention
  • Automate infrastructure tasks using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and CloudWatch or equivalent Azure services
  • Implement automated tests, including unit and integration tests, to ensure system reliability
  • Work closely with tech leads to align AI initiatives with existing cloud and platform architecture
  • Participate in code reviews, share feedback, and maintain high standards across traditional and AI-driven codebases
  • Support the adoption of AI-powered DevOps tools to increase operational efficiency

Experience You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 years of hands-on development experience in any object oriented programming languages
  • Exposure to AI services like OpenAI, Amazon Personalize, Amazon Forecast, Amazon Comprehend, and Azure Cognitive Services or equivalents
  • Understanding of monitoring, cloud automation, and infrastructure scaling
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure services such as Lambda, Step Functions, S3, or Azure equivalents
  • Ability to analyze problems and deliver practical AI-powered solutions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions

Bonus Experience

  • Development experience in backend services and APIs using .NET (C#) and SQL Server
  • Experience integrating SageMaker endpoints for model inference
  • Knowledge of basic AI/ML concepts such as anomaly detection, NLP, or time-series forecasting
  • Familiarity with log analysis platforms like OpenSearch, ElasticSearch, or Azure Monitor
  • AWS or Azure certifications related to development, architecture, or machine learning
