Glenmore Christian Academy (GCA) is a private Alberta accredited Christian school located in the Southwest of Calgary, Alberta, specializing in the education of children in grades K-9. GCA is a member of AISCA (Association of Independent Schools and Colleges in Alberta) as well as ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International). GCA has an opportunity for a full time (35 hours/week) Jr. High Educational Assistant. Under the direction and mentorship of the Resource Support Teacher as well as the Jr. High Principal, this individual will be working primarily with an individual student one on one, and with the resource team to ensure student needs are supported.

- Ability to adapt to a high energy environment with varying noise levels
- Agile and able to work closely with children at their physical levels
- Able to supervise / manage a classroom of students during breaks
- Agrees to and adheres to the GCA Statement of Faith – without reservation
- Fluent in English
- At least two years of experience, specifically working with students who have individualized learning needs is preferred
- Early Childhood Certificate
- Educational Assistant Certificate
- Bachelor of Education
