The Opportunity
We’re looking for a driven and people-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join Chartwell’s corporate recruitment team. In this role, you’ll lead full-cycle recruitment efforts that support our mission of Making People’s Lives BETTER, helping attract compassionate, high-performing individuals across our corporate offices and residences.

We’re looking for a driven and people-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join Chartwell’s corporate recruitment team. In this role, you’ll lead full-cycle recruitment efforts that support our mission of Making People’s Lives BETTER, helping attract compassionate, high-performing individuals across our corporate offices and residences.
Working in close partnership with hiring leaders, you’ll source, assess, and secure purpose-driven talent who share our RESPECT values and commitment to service excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a full cycle Talent Acquisition process and support pipelining activities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent needs and create tailored attraction strategies.
- Develop job postings and candidate marketing materials aligned with Chartwell’s brand.
- Conduct proactive sourcing using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other tools to engage passive candidates.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Manage the screening, interview, and offer process, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
- Maintain recruitment reports and dashboards to support continuous improvement.
- Participate in recruitment events and employer branding initiatives.
- Act as a strategic partner and subject matter expert in all areas of corporate recruitment.
- Experience: 5+ years in full-cycle recruitment with advanced sourcing capabilities.
- Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Boolean sourcing, and CRM tools. Experience with Oracle HCM is an asset.
- Soft Skills: Collaborative, organized, adaptable, and people-first in your approach. Strong communication and consulting skills.
- Languages: Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
