Currently, we are seeking full-time Shipping Coordinator to join our team of Elevator at Garaventa Lift at Surrey, BC. This is 100% on-site position.

Position Summary

The Shipping Coordinator at Garaventa Lifts Inc. will play a key role in managing and streamlining shipping operations for parts and equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented, hardworking individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to ensuring accurate and timely shipments. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively while working collaboratively with the team.

Essential Duties And Requirements

  • Pack and ship parts, including small and oversized items.
  • Process and transact orders in the Syteline system.
  • Coordinate less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments for parts and lifts.
  • Manage inbound orders and ensure proper documentation.
  • Oversee consolidated truck shipments and assist with customs clearance.
  • Ensure all shipments comply with company standards and customer requirements.
  • Perform physical tasks as needed, including lifting and organizing shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely communication with team members..

Mindset, Skills & Education

  • Energetic, eager, tenacious.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in logistics or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination preferred.
  • Proficiency in using shipping software or ERP systems, with familiarity in Syteline being an advantage.
  • Proven ability to multitask and work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong accountability, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with no hesitation in speaking.
  • Capability to work extended hours or overtime when required, including at short notice.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and think outside the box to find solutions.
  • Physically capable of performing tasks involving lifting and moving materials.
  • A strong work ethic, honesty, and a proactive attitude.
