We are currently seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join the maintenance team at KRONOS.
You will report to the Chloride Maintenance Superintendent.
Required Education And Experience

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join the maintenance team at KRONOS.
You will report to the Chloride Maintenance Superintendent.
Required Education And Experience
- Diploma in mechanical engineering technology, industrial maintenance, or equivalent;
- Experience in project and personnel management in an industrial setting;
- Five years of relevant experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Analytical and synthesis thinking;
- Initiative and resourcefulness;
- Versatility, autonomy, and problem-solving ability;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Results-oriented;
- Experience in mechanical maintenance, project management, and major shutdown work;
- Knowledge of deficiency analysis tools;
- Experience working in a unionized environment.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
- SAP MTS (Hana);
- MS Project.
- Support the maintenance team with various tasks;
- Plan, organize, and supervise maintenance and equipment refurbishment projects;
- Prepare specifications and calls for tenders for the purchase of parts and services;
- Manage inventory parts and source discontinued components;
- Perform supplier inspections during external repairs;
- Analyze technical and commercial bids;
- Prepare purchase requisitions;
- Supervise on-site work;
- Conduct safety audits on work sites;
- Identify cost reduction projects related to equipment reliability, including ROI estimates;
- Fill in for maintenance foremen when needed;
- Train unionized employees on CMMS software;
- Supervise work under your responsibility during plant shutdowns;
- Demonstrate leadership in managing health, safety, and environmental aspects.
- Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
