About The Role
You will be joining our outstanding international team of Sustainability Analysts. We work together as a cohesive group of sustainability experts, ensuring our clients receive the highest quality service and outcomes from our products.
This position is perfect for an early-career professional who is passionate about sustainability and the issues surrounding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors. About The Role

Key Responsibilities
Client Support and Engagement:
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their sustainability objectives and assist in implementing EcoOnline's software for assessing and reporting sustainability metrics.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a designated client portfolio, ensuring exceptional service delivery and fostering long-term client relationships.
- Conduct comprehensive data collection and analysis for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics, including carbon footprints, waste metrics, and social impact indicators.
- Assist clients in gathering and interpreting sustainability data to support their reporting obligations and strategic decision-making processes.
- Provide clients with guidance on complying with sustainability regulations and standards, including ESG reporting requirements and carbon emissions regulations.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in sustainability reporting and data management.
- Support clients in preparing sustainability reports, performance metrics, and actionable recommendations for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Assist in the documentation of sustainability initiatives and achievements to enhance transparency and accountability.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to the highest standards.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks on the sustainability database to uphold data accuracy and reliability. Implement corrective actions as needed to maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate with Product Development and Research & Development teams to drive continuous improvement of EcoOnline's sustainability software.
- Contribute insights and feedback to enhance product features and functionality based on client feedback and industry trends.
- Possess a strong understanding of environmental issues, such as climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, resource depletion.
- Understanding of GHG accounting (best practice, relevant standards and reporting requirements).
- An appreciation for the interdisciplinary nature of sustainability and environmental science, including connections with social, economic, and political factors.
- Understanding of sustainable practices across various sectors, including energy, agriculture, transportation, urban planning, etc.
- Familiarity with environmental laws, regulations, and policies at local, national, and international levels may be beneficial, especially for roles involving compliance or advocacy.
- Proficient with excel to process and analyse data sets, including competent knowledge of core functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIFS and INDEXMATCH etc
- Excellent communication skills, including a professional telephone/video call manner and articulate email presentation
- Ability to produce high-quality client-facing reports and other written material
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability or Environmental Science, or a related field such as Environmental Studies, Ecology, Conservation Biology
