YOUR ROLE
As a passionate Business Development Representative, you play a pivotal role in reaching out to and qualifying external prospects and business development leads via telephone. Your primary objective is to schedule telephone appointments for our advisors, enabling them to conduct impactful meetings introducing, positioning, and promoting our diverse product lines, ultimately leading to the acquisition of new sales.
YOUR IMPACT
- You will develop strong business relationships with prospective customers through effective telephone communication.
- You will maintain a consistent outbound call volume, exceeding 80 calls daily.
- You will schedule telephone appointments with key decision-makers among prospects.
- You will conduct engaging, clear, and concise professional verbal and written communication.
- You will ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting in the CRM system.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- You will meet or exceed assigned quotas of appointments:
- 2 Appointments per day/40 appointments per month by the 2nd month.
- 3 Appointments per day/60 appointments per month by the 4th month.
- 4+ Appointments per day/80 appointments per month by the 6th month.
- You will ensure accurate scheduling and confirmations of appointments, including key participant(s).
- You will maintain a high quality of appointments, emphasizing a clear understanding of prospect needs and specific topics for discussion.
- You will adhere to CRM accuracy and best practices.
THIS IS YOU
- You have completed post-secondary education.
- You possess at least 1 year of experience in an outbound call center or outbound inside sales role (asset).
- You have prior experience using a CRM in a sales or administrative capacity.
- You have previous telephone marketing experience (asset).
- You have excellent communication Skills and are able to maintain strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
- You have the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, adjusting strategies to meet changing business requirements.

YOUR COMPENSATION
At the time of this posting, the estimated annual base salary for this position is $45,000. Individual compensation is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training. This reflects the annual base salary only and does not encompass our comprehensive total rewards, benefits, and potential commissions that we proudly offer.
