As a Hospital Security Supervisor, there is a high focus on ensuring seamless security operations, motivate and lead a team of highly trained security guards and providing exceptional customer service, since you will be working with people all shift, in a Hospital environment

- Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
- Required to lead a team of on site security guards
- Responsible for ensuring post orders are maintained, updated and followed by all security guards
- Maintain a safe and secure environment
- Direct liaison with site client on a daily basis
- Responding to Fire Alarm/Emergency Situations
- Complete daily reports and incident reports
- Provide excellent customer service
- Access control duties
- Good and effective communication skills are required with ability to engage and to de-escalate situations
- Provide high level of customer service in a challenging environment, greeting people and directing them to the right place.
- Monitor site visitors, staff, Perform ID checks.
- Respond to various site emergencies (codes), and when required, immediately coordinating with the site security and calling backup in order to ensure security of patients, visitors, staff, property and information.
- Observe presence of any suspicious person, things, unusual activity, or issues if seen at the site, and respond to the situation, and manageimmediate coordinationand reporting to site security.
- Incident and daily reporting according to the site requirement and standards
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Manitoba security license
- First aid certification an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Advanced phone & computer skills
- Be able to work Night Shifts
- Fluent in English, both written and orally
- Previous experience as a Supervisor (Asset)
- High school education or equivalent
