As a Museum Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in environments in one of our Musuem setting

- Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
- Manage access control
- Perform regular interior patrols to ensure site safety and compliance with museum policies
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Answer questions in person or by phone
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Maintain a visible presence to discourage unauthorized or illegal activities.
- Complete daily activity and incident reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage crowds, ensuring they remain orderly and safe during events, and exhibitions.
- Respond effectively to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or security breaches.
- Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras.
- Manage entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and granting authorized access.
- Be comfortable using security-related technology and systems.
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Manitoba security license
- First aid certification an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
- French language skills not Mandatory but an asset
- Be able to provide proof of PR status or Canadian citizen status duet to reliability clearances requirement.
- Strong customer service skills
